About Maison Verde

Hi, I’m Carly—a tech professional by day and home décor enthusiast at heart. I'm based in New Jersey, though I’ve also lived in Chicago and Seattle. No matter the city—or the size of the apartment—I’ve always felt most at home when creating spaces that feel warm, intentional, and full of character. Even my tiny studio 15 years ago was lovingly styled into a cozy retreat.

After years in the fast-paced world of technology, I found myself craving a more creative, personal outlet. What started as a weekend escape—styling rooms, sourcing beautiful yet affordable pieces, and dreaming up cozy corners—slowly blossomed into Maison Verde. With lots of encouragement from friends and family (who were always trying to “borrow” my finds!), I finally took the leap—four years in the making.

The name Maison Verde reflects the heart of the brand:

• Maison, meaning “home” in French, evokes a sense of timeless elegance and layered, lived-in spaces.

• Verde, meaning “green,” represents nature, growth, and a connection to earthy materials and organic beauty.

Together, Maison Verde is a celebration of thoughtful design that doesn’t have to be expensive or extravagant. Each piece is hand-selected to bring charm, function, and calm into your home—grounded in natural textures, subtle palettes, and timeless forms.
